Celebrating 70 Years of Hanoi University of Science and Technology
On October 15, 2026, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) marks 70 years since the opening of its first academic year. The university was established in March 1956 and welcomed its first cohort of students on October 15 that year. This anniversary brings the HUST community together to celebrate its history and look ahead to the future.
As part of the anniversary activities, HUST held a science and technology achievements exhibition. The event offered a space to reflect on the university’s research and share ideas for its next chapter.
Dr. Chien Truong-Quoc, principal investigator of AiRA Lab, presented “AI for the Physical World: From Prediction to Creation in Modern Mechanics” at the exhibition. His presentation connected AI methods with challenges across the physical sciences and engineering, from small-scale structures to robotic systems.
Congratulations to Hanoi University of Science and Technology on its 70th anniversary! We look forward to contributing to the next chapter through research, collaboration, and the education of future engineers.
