Tran Ngoc Thuong is an undergraduate student in the Department of Mechatronics at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and a member of the AiRA Laboratory.
His research focuses on diffusion policy learning for robotics, with an emphasis on simulation-to-real transfer and reducing the need for large real robot datasets. He is interested in combining simulated trajectories with limited real-world demonstrations to improve policy generalization.
Thuong is currently exploring sim-to-target-sim transfer experiments using diffusion-based robot policies, building toward methods that learn and correct domain discrepancies between simulation and real-world deployment.
