Invited Lecture – Artificial Intelligence for Inverse Designs
AiRA Lab is honored to deliver an invited lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence for Inverse Designs” as part of the student exchange and collaboration program between Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).
This lecture introduces how modern AI methods – including deep learning, surrogate modeling, and optimization under uncertainty – can be used to automatically design engineering structures and systems that satisfy complex performance requirements. We discuss applications ranging from mechanical components to smart structures, where AI helps search extremely high-dimensional design spaces that are intractable for traditional approaches.
The event is hosted within a broader program that combines design projects, cultural exchange, and joint workshops between SIT and HUST. It provides a unique opportunity for students to learn about cutting-edge AI techniques while experiencing international collaboration in engineering education.
